Our Goldendoodles are a cross between a first generation Mini Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever + Poodle) and a Moyen Poodle. This cross increases the chance that our puppies will have more of the desirable Poodle-like traits, including low-to-no-shedding coats that are more suited to people with moderate to severe allergies. The coats will be curly or wavy and will need grooming occasionally to frequently, depending on the length desired (the longer the coat, the more grooming required). We estimate the puppies will be 30-35 pounds, and 16-21 inches.

Goldendoodles are social and intelligent dogs that can happily live in the city or out in the country. They are easy to potty train, and are also successful in agility and obedience training. They are often used as service dogs. Our puppies are well-socialized while they are with us, and will continue to be social puppies, getting along with other dogs and people. Their easy disposition makes them good with new people.

Goldendoodles have a life expectancy of up to 15 years. Currently, Goldendoodles are not recognized as a distinct breed by the American Kennel Club (AKC), the United Kennel Club (UKC), or the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), and are considered a “designer breed.”
